Infosys is seeking a Test Automation Consultant to join its Financial Services unit in Chicago. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance applications, leveraging AI‑driven platforms. The unit is a global leader in digital transformation for financial institutions, using AI, cloud and data‑led innovation to accelerate growth and unlock business value.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements and translate them into testable specifications.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop, integrate and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories and implement test strategies.
• Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes and support production issue resolution.
• Develop user training programs, documentation and support frameworks for new releases.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Ability to translate complex functional requirements into actionable development tasks.
