Territory Sales Manager – Precision Cutting Tools (Northern Illinois & Wisconsin)

About the role

Heritage Cutter, a privately held US manufacturer of precision cutting tools, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Northern Illinois and Wisconsin region. The role combines field technical support for end‑users and distributors with responsibility for driving sales and profit margins in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and profit margin within the territory.
• Maintain and grow customer relationships, providing technical support for milling and tapping applications.
• Coordinate internal resources such as Product Managers and work with distributors to deliver solutions.
• Keep CRM data current, review lost opportunities, and report on sales goals and forecasts.
• Submit monthly reports covering account updates, quotation feedback, and distributor training.

Required profile

• 2+ years of machining experience on manual and CNC machines.
• 2+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Engineering degree or machining trade certificate preferred.
• Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Machining on manual and CNC equipment.
• Technical knowledge of milling and tapping applications.
• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Use of project management software, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.
