Terrace Grille Busser – Seasonal Full‑Time

About the role

Are you someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a Busser to join the Terrace Grille team, where you’ll play an essential role in creating a clean, welcoming, and efficient dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain smooth service flow.
• Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread, and supporting guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, patio, and service stations.
• Remove dishes, glassware, and utensils and transport them to dishwashing areas.
• Keep service areas stocked with necessary supplies such as silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and organizing the dining space.
• Support the team to ensure guests receive prompt and attentive service.

Required profile

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to lift trays, bus tubs, and equipment as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
