Temporary Prevailing Wage Porter (Maison 78)

About the role

This temporary position supports the upkeep of a residential community, ensuring that grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal meet Greystar’s standards. The Porter works on‑site, interacting with residents and the service team to keep the property clean, safe and welcoming.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect community areas throughout the day to remove litter, debris and pet droppings, keeping common areas and amenities tidy.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests assigned by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist during unit turnovers.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates operate safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Commitment to safety procedures and ability to attend required training.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate respectfully with residents.
