Telemedicine Primary Care Physician (San Francisco)

About the role

Circle Medical is seeking independent adult primary‑care physicians to deliver high‑quality telemedicine services to patients in the San Francisco area. Physicians work autonomously, setting their own schedules and combining remote video‑audio visits with optional in‑person clinic sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide adult primary care via video‑audio telemedicine appointments using Circle Medical’s proprietary HIPAA‑compliant EHR.
• Schedule and conduct 15‑30 minute patient encounters independently, with the flexibility to add optional in‑person clinic sessions.

Required profile

• MD or DO, board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with at least 3 years post‑residency experience.
• Current California medical license (and DEA registration) and ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a PC running Windows 11 Pro or a Mac (2021 model or newer).
• Ability to navigate and document in a HIPAA‑compliant electronic health record system.

What we offer

• Fee‑for‑service pay of $50 per completed telemedicine encounter, with typical earnings equivalent to $100–$200 per hour based on visit volume.
• $350 flat stipend for each optional in‑person clinic session.
• Fully independent practice model with no exclusivity, allowing work for other practices and flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
