Telecommunications Analyst (Cisco)

About the role

We are seeking a Cisco Telecommunications Analyst to provide technical expertise ensuring telecommunications and network facilities are sufficient, appropriate, and functioning well. The role involves maintaining optimal performance of data, voice, and voicemail systems.

Key responsibilities

• Determine causes of system malfunctions and direct or perform corrective actions.
• Monitor, log, track, and resolve hardware and software deficiencies, recommending preventive actions.
• Advise Board departments of potential service disruptions affecting voice mail and telephone services.
• Review service requests for compatibility and ensure hardware/software availability.
• Develop telephone system and voicemail requirements for new or remodeled facilities.
• Install telecommunications systems in new or remodeled Board facilities.
• Identify and acquire test equipment and spare parts inventory for network support.
• Maintain ongoing contact with telecommunications users to ensure problems are resolved.
• Provide project management and coordination.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience working with digital network systems.
• Experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Contact Center (UCCX/UCCE/Webex Contact Center).
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining telecommunications systems and equipment.
• Experience with advanced radio‑communication, fiber optic transmission, and digital telephone switching.
• Familiarity with current voice processing technology and computer network applications.
