Technology Consulting Intern 2027

About the role

Protiviti is hiring a Technology Consulting intern for 2027 in Denver. Interns work with Protiviti's clients, typically among the world's leading companies, collaborating with the team to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. Interns are placed in one of six technology consulting areas and receive hands-on training, mentorship and a preview of the firm's entry-level career path.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients on technology projects in one of six areas: Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI, Microsoft, Security and Privacy, Technology Risk and Resilience, or Technology Strategy and Architecture.
• Deliver solutions to complex business problems through real projects, with guidance from Talent Managers and a network of advisors.
• Take part in the onboarding experience (Liftoff) and the Intern Challenge, and explore internal initiatives and employee networks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IoT, Machine Learning).
• Currently enrolled in a degree program and expected to graduate within 12 months after the internship.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI.

Required skills

• Advanced verbal and written communication and critical thinking.
• Preferred: BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, MicroStrategy, SSRS; SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata.
• Preferred: Python, Java, JavaScript; IT controls and security topics.
