Technology Architect – Austin, TX

About the role

Infosys Engineering is looking for a Technology Architect to join its Austin team. You will work within the Architecture Consultant 2 role, helping clients design secure, high‑performance solutions that leverage AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development, and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Research and compare market technologies and tools to identify optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, maintain quality standards, and support build‑and‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment, and support phases.
• Analyze system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation for the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyze, design, and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• Proven skill in evaluating multiple technologies, tools, and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of integration methodologies, proof‑of‑concept validation, and deployment strategies.
• Experience documenting architectural frameworks and technical solutions.
