Technical Writer

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Technical Writer to create clear, concise documentation for its autonomous surface vessels. You will work closely with engineers and designers to translate complex technical concepts into user‑friendly manuals and guides throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to gather technical information.
• Create and maintain user manuals, system manuals, specifications, and other technical guides.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for end‑users.
• Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, best practices, and relevant DoD regulations.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
• Stay updated on project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Continuously improve existing documentation based on feedback.
• Monitor emerging technologies and documentation trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology‑driven or defense environment.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
