Technical Support Specialist

About the role

This entry‑level IT support position provides technical end‑user desktop assistance under supervision. You will help install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain desktop systems, workstations and related network technologies for users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve end‑user desktop issues including hardware, printers, software installations and peripheral configuration.
• Perform daily backup procedures and assist with rollout of new software packages, upgrades and desktop hardware.
• Provide technical setup and support at trade shows, which may involve periodic travel.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure using hardware and software monitoring tools.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent technical certifications and/or work experience.
• Basic understanding of software monitoring tools and backup procedures.
• Good problem‑solving, organizational skills and ability to travel up to 25%.
