Technical Support Specialist

About the role

RIB is seeking a Remote Technical Support Specialist to deliver high‑quality assistance for its engineering and construction software suite. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving technical, operational, and implementation issues while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support via telephone, email, and chat to both external and internal customers.
• Escalate unresolved issues according to established guidelines.
• Document technical problems, reproduce errors in test environments, and track resolutions.
• Participate in customer conference calls to manage and close account issues.
• Maintain availability within predefined SLA timelines, especially during critical incidents.
• Support product testing activities and give feedback on functionality and usability.
• Balance competing priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure high‑quality documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting SLA commitments.

Required skills

• Technical support experience (phone, email, chat).
• Proficiency in documenting technical issues and reproducing errors.
• Familiarity with software testing and feedback processes.
