Team Leader – Manufacturing (1st Shift)

About the role

As a Team Lead you are responsible for supporting the overall safety, quality, efficiency and timeliness of the manufacturing area. You will work alongside a cross‑functional team that includes other Team Leaders, an Area Manager, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers and a Production Planner. This is a 1st‑shift, on‑site position.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products and conduct thorough quality checks according to specified instructions.
• Report disruptions or deviations to the Manufacturing group leader for swift resolution.
• Ensure components, parts and documents meet quality specifications before advancing in the process.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance quality, productivity and the work environment.
• Operate and oversee all relevant machinery, tools and equipment, executing standard and complex production tasks.
• Set up and adjust equipment for pilot runs in line with manufacturing and R&D specifications.
• Monitor output quality, identify faulty products and maintain detailed production records.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration within the team and with supervisors.
• Demonstrate computer proficiency and interpret technical drawings to start new product generations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, vocational training or equivalent education.
• Experience in manufacturing environments such as welding, assembly or mechanics; experience leading teams of up to 20 people is preferred.
