Tax Senior

About the role

Guidepoint is looking for an experienced Tax Senior to own and manage the company’s global tax function across a complex, multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction structure. This hybrid role, based in New York City, will work closely with finance leadership to provide tax strategy, compliance, and planning support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global tax strategy, managing positions in the US, Canada, UK, Greece, Dubai, and APAC.
• Monitor federal, state, local, and international tax law changes and assess their impact.
• Maintain a global tax compliance calendar and ensure timely filing of all tax returns.
• Lead US sales & use tax compliance, nexus determinations, and refund initiatives.
• Oversee transfer pricing framework, coordinate external advisors, and handle GILTI calculations.
• Manage foreign entity income tax returns and statutory filings across all jurisdictions.
• Administer the Canadian SR&ED credit program and VAT/GST filings worldwide.
• Coordinate third‑party tax advisors and serve as the primary internal tax contact.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate tax, preferably within a multi‑jurisdiction environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess tax implications of business decisions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with finance leadership.
