Tax JD Internship – Summer 2027 (Houston)

About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Houston as a Tax JD Intern for the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside experienced tax professionals, gaining hands‑on exposure to corporate tax planning, compliance, and post‑deal integration projects while developing a solid foundation in global tax strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Participate in corporate tax planning and compliance activities to optimize client tax positions.
• Engage in tax modeling and research on tax regulations and industry‑specific issues.
• Contribute to post‑deal integration and tax‑finance integration projects.
• Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before full‑time employment.
• Typically in the second year of a three‑year JD program at the time of application.
• Preference for an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
