Tax & Accounting Internship

About the role

Greystar’s Corporate Accounting & Tax Internship provides hands‑on experience across external reporting, technical accounting and tax. Interns work alongside both teams on real projects, gaining exposure to financial reporting, tax compliance and investor reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and financial statement disclosures.
• Support accounting research, technical accounting projects, and reporting processes.
• Prepare tax workpapers and documentation for tax returns, audits and REIT compliance.
• Assist with investor tax documentation, including Schedule K‑1s and related communications.
• Maintain and reconcile accounting and tax tracking information.
• Partner with accounting, tax and business teams on summer projects.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and analytical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Curious, collaborative and eager to learn.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
