Tax Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Tax Accountant to join our team and manage the preparation of individual and fiduciary tax returns for high‑net‑worth clients. The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and effective communication with both internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file Individual Income Tax Returns, Fiduciary Income Tax Returns, Income Tax Information Letters, and Quarterly Estimated Tax Payments for assigned individuals and trusts.
• Develop and maintain proficiency with in‑house and vendor tax software, including Onesource Trust‑Tax, CCH Axcess, and FIS Global Plus.
• Ensure workflow efficiency and adapt to procedural changes as needed.
• Follow established policies to guarantee compliance with Federal and State tax laws.
• Provide technical tax advice and consultation across the organization and to clients through clear verbal and written communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or EA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience serving high‑net‑worth individuals and trusts.
• Strong knowledge of tax law, compliance, and tax preparation software.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work independently with great attention to detail.
