SVP, Corporate Controller

About the role

The Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of NBCUniversal’s consolidated financial results. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Global Controller, the role partners with corporate finance, legal, compliance, tax, treasury, payroll, HR and other functions to ensure robust accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, emphasizing balance‑sheet accuracy and related analysis.
• Oversee corporate accounting, global close and consolidation, financial reporting, and technical accounting policy.
• Assess and improve the internal control environment, focusing on high‑risk areas.
• Represent corporate accounting initiatives, driving global process standardisation and policy development.
• Collaborate with segment controllers and Global Finance Operations on operational accounting activities.
• Engage with Comcast controllership leaders on policy, controls and judgement‑heavy transactions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting for a large, multi‑segment organization.
• Proven ability to manage global close and consolidation processes.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and policy development.
• Demonstrated partnership skills with finance, legal, tax, treasury and HR functions.
• Senior‑level leadership experience, capable of advising finance leadership on complex accounting matters.
