Sustainment Engineer – Systems Support (Onsite)

About the role

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, is seeking a Sustainment Engineer to provide mission‑focused technical support for federal customers. The role ensures that systems and networks remain functional, secure, and optimized for real‑time mission execution while working onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of hardware and software assets, track assignments, returns, and lifecycle status.
• Diagnose hardware issues, perform repairs or coordinate replacements to minimize downtime.
• Apply regular software and security updates, create and manage system images, and configure workstations, servers, and network devices.
• Perform Tier 1–3 troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network problems and document incidents.
• Support operational recovery during mission‑impacting events and maintain SOPs, test guides, and turnover documentation.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• At least 4 years of experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks (or equivalent education).
• Ability to travel up to 15 % within the United States and lift 50 + pounds regularly.
• Meets DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (or can obtain within six months).
