Support Specialist II – On‑site Technical Support

About the role

This is a 12‑month contract position located on‑site in Menlo Park, CA, providing hands‑on technical support for a leading global tech company. The role focuses on troubleshooting user issues and gaining practical experience across a range of hardware and software environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries about computer software or hardware, resolving lower‑complexity problems.
• Perform remote software installations and hardware testing as needed.
• Execute commands, monitor system performance, and identify errors.
• Maintain detailed records of daily support activities, including problems, actions taken, and installations.

Required profile

• 12 months to 2 years of IT operations experience, specifically with macOS and an enterprise ticketing system.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to travel locally between offices.
