Supply Chain Planner

About the role

The Supply Chain Planner coordinates inventory flow from production to delivery at a divisional or brand level. The role optimizes purchase decisions and inventory positioning to meet customer demand while supporting revenue and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production requirements across business units and the broader division.
• Recommend purchase quantities for replenishment items based on demand trends and optimal inventory positioning.
• Partner with sales, finance, and operations to review and approve production orders.
• Manage and monitor Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) plans, ensuring alignment with forecasts and business objectives.
• Analyze and model OTB scenarios to support strategic decision‑making.
• Provide forward‑looking projections to sourcing teams across distribution channels.
• Forecast material requirements to support production planning and inventory positioning.
• Support product lifecycle and purchasing processes, including timelines and execution milestones.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure inventory levels align with warehouse capacity.
• Track and evaluate replenishment program performance across product categories.
• Work with merchandising, sales, and planning teams to identify assortment opportunities, address slow‑moving or excess inventory, and contribute to demand‑planning strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in retail or wholesale planning, buying, or replenishment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
