Supply Chain Lead

About the role

TensorWave is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of technology assets, component sourcing, and infrastructure logistics. The role works closely with engineering and architecture teams to forecast demand, negotiate contracts, and build a resilient global supply chain that supports the company’s AI compute platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement of data‑center infrastructure, software, and technical services, including contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Coordinate material and information flow among suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
• Identify and manage technology vendors, component manufacturers, and cloud infrastructure partners.
• Negotiate MSAs, SLAs and pricing strategies to mitigate risk and control total cost of ownership.
• Build redundancy into the supplier network to protect against geopolitical disruptions or regional shortages.
• Translate engineering road‑maps into multi‑year supply‑chain forecasts.
• Manage end‑of‑life cycles and ensure smooth transitions to next‑generation technology.
• Monitor global market trends, pricing and lead times to adjust purchasing strategies proactively.
• Support accounting and finance with cash‑flow forecasting and budgeting.
• Oversee domestic and global logistics, customs compliance and delivery of high‑value hardware to decentralized data centres.
• Collaborate with inventory management to track hardware assets from production to deployment.
• Work with program management to ensure parts availability for planned customer deliveries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of supply‑chain, procurement or sourcing experience, preferably in a technology or engineering environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field; MBA highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Understanding of accounting and accounts‑payable principles.
