About the role
The Supplier Quality Specialist supports supplier quality management activities, including Approved Supplier List (ASL) administration, performance monitoring, SCARs, and Supplier Quality Agreements. Working cross‑functionally, the role maintains supplier data, tracks performance, and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage supplier qualification and lifecycle activities such as onboarding, ASL maintenance, qualification records, changes, periodic reviews, and Supplier Quality Agreement administration.
- Monitor supplier performance and quality compliance by collecting, analyzing, and reporting quality, delivery, and compliance metrics.
- Coordinate supplier quality issue resolution, including SCARs, investigations, and follow‑up actions, tracking timelines and maintaining records.
- Support continuous improvement of supplier quality processes, maintaining procedures, work instructions, templates, and forms.
- Partner with Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Quality teams to ensure audit readiness and regulatory alignment.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Procurement Quality, or a related function within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Professional quality certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE, CQA, CSSBB) are preferred but not required.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485.
- Familiarity with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
