Supplier Account Manager (B3)

About the role

The Supplier Account Manager (B3) aligns and implements commodity strategies, manages supplier agreements, and supports resolution of systemic supply chain issues to ensure quality, cost, delivery and lead‑time performance.

Key responsibilities

• Aligns and implements commodity strategies.
• Manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers.
• Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with commodity strategies.
• Handles new supplier introduction and disengagement requirements.
• Supports resolution of systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead‑time.

Required profile

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Has knowledge of best practices, competition and market differentiation.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems and exercises judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own and related teams.
• Effectively communicates difficult or sensitive information and builds consensus.
