Superintendent – Deep Foundations

About the role

The Superintendent will lead field operations for deep‑foundation and ground‑improvement projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance while developing the crew and fostering client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and develop junior superintendents.
• Review and approve composite labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers.
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor meetings and communication.
• Maintain client relations on‑site and attend regular problem‑resolution meetings.
• Oversee monthly job cost updates, quarterly cash‑flow projections, and change‑order negotiations.
• Develop and execute project completion and turnover plans.
• Maintain a daily diary for record‑keeping.
• Conduct timely performance evaluations and recommend organizational or policy changes.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience planning, scheduling, and managing deep‑foundation or ground‑improvement operations.
• Strong technical background in specialty foundations and geotechnical construction.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
