Superintendent – Construction Site Operations

About the role

CEG Solutions is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead site operations for sustainable energy infrastructure projects. The role focuses on startup and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, requiring strong coordination with subcontractors and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce OSHA safety standards for all MEP activities and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Lead MEP trade subcontractors, manage manpower, sequencing, material deliveries, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Review mechanical and electrical submittals, resolve field installation issues, and coordinate project meetings.
• Assist in bidding, manage equipment procurement, and track deliveries.
• Oversee startup, functional testing, and documentation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain strong client relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical or electrical system construction.
• 3+ years experience in mission‑critical, hospital, or MEP project management and commissioning.
• Proven knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction regulations.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and independent work abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
