Summer Internship – Customs Operations

About the role

This 12‑week summer internship places you in the Finance team that partners with Warehouse Operations to manage customs procedures. You will gain hands‑on experience in customs documentation, compliance, and cross‑functional communication while supporting projects that improve efficiency and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Warehouse Operations and the Customs Compliance team.
• Review, organize, and manage import/export declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and classification documents.
• Document, update, and standardize customs‑related operational procedures.
• Assist in resolving day‑to‑day customs queries such as HTS code discrepancies or incomplete paperwork.
• Support data audits to ensure transaction accuracy before customs submission.

Required profile

• HS Diploma/GED and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Google Suite applications.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Data analysis and audit skills.
