Substitute Music Teachers for Voice, Piano, Strings & Drums

About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for experienced, enthusiastic substitute instructors to teach voice, piano, violin, cello, guitar, or drums on a part‑time basis at the Rogers School of Music in Rogers, MN. Candidates who can cover multiple instruments may receive additional hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Fill schedule gaps when regular teachers are unavailable, maintaining consistency for students.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials aligned with the school’s curriculum.

Required profile

• Degree in instrumental or vocal performance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching young musicians and reliable punctuality.
• Own reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: voice, piano, violin, cello, guitar, drums.
• Ability to teach the instrument(s) individually or in combination.
