About the role
The Subgrant Administration Coordinator supports the full lifecycle of subaward management for the Statewide Family Support Coordinator (SFSC) project. Working closely with the Project Director, finance, compliance, MEAL and program teams, the role ensures subgrantees meet California Department of Social Services requirements and IRC policies.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate partner onboarding, due‑diligence collection, agreement routing, amendments and closeout activities.
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready subgrant records in PEERS, OTIS, Asana and other IRC systems.
- Track deliverables, reporting timelines, reimbursement schedules and compliance milestones across Regional Network Hubs.
- Assist in preparing subaward agreements, monitoring tools and supporting documentation.
- Support subrecipient monitoring, review invoices, reports and procurement records, and flag compliance gaps.
- Document corrective actions, Progressive Performance Improvement plans and follow‑up activities.
Required profile
- Experience in grant or subgrant administration within a nonprofit or humanitarian organization.
- Familiarity with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) requirements and federal/state regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple subawards simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
