Student Worker – Arts & Humanities Support

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a part‑time student worker to provide basic office and project support for the Arts and Humanities department. This temporary, fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience in a campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages.
• Assist faculty with office equipment such as copy machines, printers, fax, scanners, and computers.
• Inspect classrooms after use, turn off projectors and lights, clean boards, and secure rooms.
• Support departmental projects, including occasional marketing tasks like creating flyers.
• Sort and distribute mail, email, and other correspondence.

Required profile

• Current enrollment at the University of Arkansas System.
• Reliability and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic familiarity with office equipment and standard campus procedures.
