Student Success Coordinator – Higher Education

About the role

The Student Success Coordinator supports student achievement at Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s Floyd County Campus. Reporting to the Director of Student Success, the role oversees the student help center, guides admissions processes, and collaborates with campus and community partners. The position requires on‑site presence with occasional evening, weekend, and travel duties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily campus operations, programs, and services that drive student success.
• Administer admissions policies, oversee enrollment, readmission, and coordinate recruitment efforts.
• Provide career and technical guidance, assist with financial aid applications, and conduct tours, registration, and orientation events.
• Utilize the institution’s CRM software to process student data, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise student success assistants, evaluate employee performance, approve leave and timesheets, and deliver training as needed.
• Represent the college at off‑campus community events and serve on student success committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Two years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Experience in higher‑education admissions, enrollment, and use of CRM systems such as TargetX (Salesforce) is highly valued.
• Bilingual ability in English/Spanish is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with TargetX (Salesforce) or similar higher‑education CRM software.
• Experience working with student information systems and data entry tools.
