Strategic Operations Manager

About the role

Uber Eats is transforming instant delivery and helping merchants grow while providing earnings opportunities for couriers. The Strategic Operations Manager will join the US & Canada Strategic Operations team, work closely with senior leadership, and drive alignment across product, engineering, and customer support to shape delivery strategy across consumer, courier, marketplace, and merchant verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and scope performance‑improvement opportunities across supply, demand, and merchant experience.
• Design, own, and deliver high‑impact projects, ensuring they meet critical metrics and keeping leadership informed.
• Analyze complex data sets, build models, and translate insights into business decisions and policies.
• Advise senior leadership on long‑term strategy by defining metrics, creating dashboards, and providing strategic insights.
• Partner with product teams to guide solution development based on business and customer needs.
• Project‑manage cross‑functional work streams for product roll‑outs across the US and Canada.
• Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for each initiative.
• Collaborate with operations, data science, finance, marketing, and customer support to ensure insights inform broader initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset.
• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience.
