Strategic Operations Associate

About the role

Shields Health Solutions is looking for a Strategic Operations Associate to partner directly with executive and operations leaders on high‑impact growth, strategy, and operational initiatives. This position offers exposure to all business functions within a fast‑growing healthcare company.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Vice Presidents and Operations leaders to improve financial, operational, and clinical performance.
• Build financial models, forecasts, business cases, and executive‑level presentations.
• Lead and support cross‑functional strategic projects in operations, growth, and business development.
• Analyze data, generate actionable insights, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Assist in strategic planning, board material preparation, and executive communications.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, partnerships, and operational improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, strategic finance, FP&A, M&A, or a high‑growth startup.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑starter with excellent communication skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
