Strategic Finance

About the role

Triomics is seeking its first Strategic Finance professional to build and own the company’s financial engine from the ground up. You will be the most informed person on all financial matters, bridging high‑level strategic analysis with day‑to‑day operational finance in a fast‑growing Series B startup focused on AI‑driven oncology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve the financial model, budget, and forecast to guide leadership and board decisions.
• Run scenario planning for hiring, burn rate, and runway as the business scales.
• Produce board and investor materials and answer any underlying financial questions.
• Own revenue operations across multiple streams, complex enterprise contracts, and multi‑year deals.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounts receivable: invoicing cycles, collections, renewals, and cash flow predictability.
• Partner with Commercial on deal structuring, pricing, and revenue recognition.
• Establish repeatable finance processes, controls, and systems appropriate for a fast‑moving Series B company.
• Lead monthly close, cash management, and relationships with external accounting and tax partners.
• Define reporting and KPI frameworks to give leadership a clear, real‑time view of the business.
• Provide financial context to all teams, surface risks and opportunities early, and execute corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building finance functions in high‑growth startups, preferably as an early employee.
• Ability to produce board‑ready strategic analysis and handle detailed operational finance tasks.
• Strong understanding of complex revenue models, contracts, and multi‑year deals.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
