Strategic Communications Lead (Remote, Houston, TX)

About the role

Kelly is partnering with a Fortune 50 energy client to drive a large‑scale enterprise transformation. The Strategic Communications Lead will own the communication and change‑management strategy, ensuring all stakeholder groups understand upcoming changes, impacts, and required actions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop communication strategies, including stakeholder personas, messaging frameworks, channel mix, and timing aligned to program milestones.
• Create and maintain communication plans and roadmaps in partnership with program leadership and central communications.
• Produce targeted communications such as emails, presentations, and updates for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Lead redesign of the stakeholder‑facing site, improving content, navigation, and user experience.
• Define the role of each communication channel within the broader ecosystem and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Deliver stakeholder presentations and develop supplemental training materials to support readiness.
• Define and track communication effectiveness metrics, gather feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Identify communication risks and gaps, recommend mitigation strategies, and coordinate cross‑functional inputs into clear messaging.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in change management, strategic communications, or stakeholder engagement within large‑scale programs.
• Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies for complex initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to measure communication impact and adjust tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
