Store Manager – Retail (Hilldale Shopping Center)

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the Hilldale Shopping Center location in Madison, WI. Reporting to the District Manager, you will drive sales performance, oversee daily operations, and uphold the brand’s heritage while shaping its future.

Key responsibilities

• Guide profitable sales and meet financial targets (conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour).
• Manage store operations including payroll, cash handling, and inventory control.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, and terminate store personnel at all levels.
• Control labor costs and align staffing with traffic patterns.
• Ensure accurate receiving, pricing, and merchandising of merchandise.
• Partner with Loss Prevention to minimize shrink.
• Maintain visual standards and adapt merchandising displays to tell a compelling brand story.
• Train new hires on company culture, product knowledge, and selling practices.
• Coach staff for development and create succession plans.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience, preferably in fashion or apparel.
• Strong ability to make data‑driven business decisions.
• Excellent communication and people‑management skills.
