Statewide Organizer – Immigrant Justice

About the role

The Statewide Organizer will build regional and statewide power for immigrant justice by leading campaigns, coalitions, and partnerships across California. This hybrid, full‑time position reports to the Supervising Movement Building Manager and requires frequent travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination with Health4All subgrantees, develop agendas, facilitate calls, and plan convenings.
• Represent CIPC in local, regional, and state immigrant‑rights coalitions and drive coalition work.
• Support base‑building networks, assist partners in creating new regional networks, and grow CIPC’s membership.
• Organize the annual Immigrant Day of Action in Sacramento and other organization‑wide events.
• Conduct power mapping, research policy impacts, and develop outreach and political‑education materials.
• Provide trainings, technical assistance, and support fundraising and grant tracking.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of organizing and coalition‑building experience in social‑justice sectors.
• Proven ability to lead diverse coalitions and engage community stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel frequently, hold a valid driver’s license, and use a personal vehicle.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as EveryAction, VAN, PDI, Salesforce, or Raiser’s Edge.
