Sr Systems Administrator

About the role

The Senior Systems Administrator will ensure the reliable operation, performance, and security of our Windows and Linux server environments. You will lead system installations, upgrades, and configurations while supporting end‑users and collaborating with IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Install, configure, and integrate new hardware and software according to documented standards.
• Implement security controls, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Establish backup procedures, develop disaster‑recovery plans, and test recovery processes.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users and assist other IT departments with system requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in systems administration within a corporate environment.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
