Sr. Manager, People Partner - Product, Innovation & Engineering (PIE)

About the role

Quorum Software, a global software company serving the oil and gas industry, is looking for a Senior Manager HR Business Partner to support its Product, Innovation and Engineering (PIE) organization, which spans about 650 employees across the United States, Colombia, India, Norway and Canada. The role reports to the Sr. Director, People Partners & Advisory and acts as the primary HR partner to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and their leadership team. It is based in Houston, Texas (preferred) or remotely in the United States, with a hybrid model in Houston or remote with travel elsewhere.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead People Partner to the CPTO and their extended leadership team, giving hands-on HR counsel across the employee lifecycle.
• Build trusted relationships with product and engineering leaders across key countries to turn business priorities into people strategy.
• Act as a thought partner on organizational design, team structure and workforce planning as the PIE organization scales.
• Help assess how AI and evolving technology are changing roles, skills and team structures, and design the resulting organizational changes.
• Lead job architecture, role redesign and workforce planning, including reskilling and redeployment strategies.
• Drive talent review, succession planning and leadership development.
• Coach people managers on performance management, feedback and team effectiveness.
• Manage complex employee relations matters with a team of people advisors, across jurisdictions.
• Lead organizational change initiatives, including role transitions and change communications.
• Use people data and analytics to inform leadership decisions, and partner with the Centers of Excellence for Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and People Analytics.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner supporting a product, engineering or technology organization.
• Experience partnering with senior technology leaders such as CTO, CPTO or VP Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience supporting organizational design and workforce planning during periods of significant change.
• Experience supporting a global employee population across multiple countries.
