Sr. Account Manager - High Tech Leafy

About the role

The Senior Account Manager – High Tech Leafy will join BASF Agricultural Solutions’ Vegetable Seeds business. Based in the Southern United States (remote), you will lead sales initiatives for strategic accounts, building long‑term partnerships that drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review, adapt and execute annual sales and Key Customer Plans for assigned strategic accounts.
• Set customer priorities, sales targets, KPIs and crop‑marketing actions aligned with the annual budget.
• Lead and coordinate customer trial activities to demonstrate the value of commercial and pre‑commercial seed assortments.
• Collaborate with customers, agrotechnologists, product development specialists and internal crop, trials, product development and marketing teams.
• Translate varietal performance data into credible recommendations and growth opportunities for customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales or account management within the agricultural or seed sector.
• Strong understanding of high‑tech leafy vegetable markets and seed technology.
• Ability to develop and sustain strategic partnerships with national and international customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a results‑driven mindset.
