SQL Database Administrator – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Infosys is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator to join its Cloud unit. You will work on enterprise‑grade SQL Server environments, supporting clients across multiple U.S. locations while contributing to innovative cloud and AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions and develop technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, emergency fixes and technology upgrades ensuring uninterrupted service.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning and optimize system behavior.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, compliance audits and implement continuity measures.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Experience working in client‑facing environments and delivering technical documentation.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, release management and security best practices.
