SQL Application Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

Turn5 is seeking a SQL Application Developer to join its data engineering team. You will work in a fast‑growing eCommerce environment, supporting highly transactional applications that power automotive enthusiast sites.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and project managers to build new and maintain existing SQL code, structures, and data.
• Evaluate and performance‑tune stored procedures, functions, and queries that run hundreds or thousands of times per minute.
• Analyze business requirements to determine feasibility within time and resource constraints.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle: planning, estimating, documenting, developing, testing, and deploying.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+ in a high‑transaction environment.
• Strong foundation in database design, data modeling, and relational schema creation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and document SQL solutions.
• Curiosity and a collaborative mindset to grow with the team.
