About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking a Specialized Cloud Engineer to join its Infrastructure Consulting team in Jersey City, NJ. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud‑native solutions for leading financial institutions, leveraging AI‑driven insights and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT environments, produce assessment reports, and support due‑diligence activities to identify infrastructure maturity gaps.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective cloud architectures, review reusable components, and create technical documentation for deployed solutions.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing, and manage version control.
• Plan and execute maintenance windows, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring seamless integration.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning, and drive system optimization.
• Perform security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits, implementing measures to maintain continuity and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably within the financial services sector.
• Experience working in a consulting environment handling multiple client engagements.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
