Spanish Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Central Georgia Technical College, seeks a dedicated Spanish Instructor to deliver high‑quality language instruction to students across multiple campuses. This full‑time position involves classroom, evening, and online teaching, with occasional travel within the college’s service area.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver associate‑level Spanish courses, preparing syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Assess student performance using appropriate testing, grading procedures, and maintain accurate grade books.
• Provide mentorship to adjunct faculty and serve as lead instructor when needed.
• Participate in professional development, maintain program accreditation standards, and comply with Technical College System of Georgia policies.
• Travel to dual‑enrollment sites and other campuses, including Warner Robins, as required.

Required profile

• Under general supervision, capable of teaching all phases of the Spanish curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain records, reports, and inventory of assigned property.
• Commitment to a 40‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday, with flexibility for evenings.
