Software Test Engineer

About the role

Software Test Engineer will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary functional test team, responsible for verifying best‑in‑class Healthcare Informatics and Patient Monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform software verification of the Patient Monitoring solution.
• Interact with engineers to qualify issues, report and document test results in a regulation‑compliant manner.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the HW/SW test framework.
• Identify automation opportunities and help develop new protocols and tools.
• Collaborate closely with clinical partners to refine and enhance healthcare solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of testing experience on real‑time, large‑scale distributed client‑server applications, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience investigating defects, reviewing specifications, creating test documentation and communicating updates with cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency in test automation using Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) and converting requirements into Gherkin scenarios.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Informatics, Computer Science or related field.

Required skills

• C# / .NET development.
• Microsoft development platforms: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Windows OS and microservices architecture.
• API, web and mobile application testing.
• Networking concepts and tools: TCP/IP, WLAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, Wireshark.
• SAFe Agile process knowledge.
• Risk analysis and FMEA.

• Salary range $115,000 – $182,000 per year.
