About the role
Cintas is looking for a Level 2 Software Engineer to join its Mobility team within IT. You will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Kotlin Multiplatform, working closely with business analysts and customers to translate requirements into high‑quality solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in planning and estimation with cross‑functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into well‑designed Android solutions aligned with enterprise IT strategy.
- Analyze existing mobile applications for performance, scalability, maintainability, and usability gaps.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android enterprise applications or modules.
- Follow approved development processes, coding standards, and documentation practices.
- Produce application specifications and clearly document technical system requirements.
- Work across mobile, API, and backend integration environments with increasing independence.
- Own end‑to‑end application quality, conduct unit testing, and resolve production issues with minimal supervision.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of experience with object‑oriented programming (Java, Kotlin) and Android application development.
- Experience with Android Studio, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio Code.
- Proficiency with version‑control tools such as Git or GitLab.
