Software Engineer - Full-Stack

About the role

We are looking for an experienced full‑stack engineer to shape the user‑facing experiences of Cardless’s co‑branded credit‑card platform. The role sits at the core of our component library, consumer app, and internal tools, driving consistency, scalability, and quality across the product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the component library and design system, building reusable, scalable UI components.
• Design, develop, and ship features for the consumer app, covering onboarding, account management, and rewards.
• Create internal tools that enable operations and risk teams to manage workflows and gain visibility.
• Take projects from concept through production, handling requirements, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, risk, and compliance teams to deliver quickly and reliably.
• Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, observability, and developer experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building production systems at scale.
• 3+ years of hands‑on React experience on consumer products and data‑heavy internal tools.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects end‑to‑end in cross‑functional environments.
• Clear communicator who can teach and learn quickly.
• Comfortable working in fast‑moving, ambiguous settings with competing priorities.

Required skills

• React (including state management, component architecture, accessibility, testing).
• Next.js, TailwindCSS, React Native.
• Yarn monorepos and micro‑frontend architectures.
• Design and maintenance of component libraries / design systems.
• API design and backend integration (REST, GraphQL).
