Software Engineer - Core Infrastructure

About the role

Genesis Molecular AI is building a world‑class computational team to solve drug‑discovery challenges using machine learning, biophysical simulation, and computational chemistry. The role focuses on developing and scaling the AI platform’s core infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a multi‑cloud compute infrastructure that supports ML model training, computational chemistry research, and drug‑discovery workloads.
• Build configuration and procedures for monitoring, resource allocation, and deployment automation to scale autoscaling compute clusters.
• Develop an orchestration and scheduling framework to improve execution throughput, reliability, and compute utilization across heterogeneous pipelines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS or GCP).
• Proficient with Python, Bash, Terraform, Ray, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and operating large compute clusters for distributed ML training (1,000+ GPUs) is ideal.
• Hands‑on experience with physical hardware and datacenter management is a plus.
