Skilled Tradesman Generalist – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Skilled Tradesman Generalist provides general maintenance for assigned residence halls, ensuring building systems operate safely and efficiently. The role requires a broad knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting to address routine and emergency work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in residence halls, covering carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks.
• Respond to work orders and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any safety or compliance issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum four years of building maintenance experience covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or painting.
• Preferred seven years of experience and demonstrated ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
