SIU Litigation Attorney – 2+ Years Experience

About the role

Marshall Dennehey is seeking an SIU Litigation Attorney to join its New York offices. The attorney will focus on defending against fraudulent insurance claims and pursuing affirmative actions such as RICO litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with SIU departments to research, prepare, file and litigate fraud actions, including RICO and other affirmative actions.
• Develop litigation strategies, draft motions, memoranda, and legal briefs, and conduct depositions, EUOs, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements, manage complex matters, and represent clients in state and federal courts.

Required profile

• At least two years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance fraud defense.
• Strong legal writing, negotiation, and investigative skills.
• Ability to work onsite in New York, Purchase, or Melville offices.

Required skills

• Experience with RICO and other affirmative litigation.
• Familiarity with BI, UM, trucking, transportation, labor law, first‑party property, PIP, and workers’ compensation claims.
