Site General Manager – Defense Division (Buffalo, NY)

Moog is seeking a Site General Manager for its Defense Division at the Buffalo, NY location. The role leads operations, mentors teams, and ensures delivery of mission‑critical components for defense platforms such as combat vehicles, radars, submarines and torpedoes.

• Oversee all site functions including manufacturing, engineering, production, maintenance, planning, quality, environmental and safety.
• Drive operational excellence to achieve 100 % quality and on‑time delivery.
• Manage site P&L, balancing revenue growth, cost control and investment priorities.
• Build and sustain a culture aligned with Moog’s values, fostering collaboration and employee development.
• Partner with the Business Unit General Manager on customer engagement and program readiness.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or related field (MBA or MS preferred).
• 10 + years of management experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in defense or aerospace.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and mentor staff.
• Strong understanding of production processes for complex defense actuation systems.

• Experience with Moog’s actuation technology (electro‑hydraulic, electro‑mechanical).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for defense components and systems.
• Familiarity with stringent quality, safety and on‑time delivery requirements.

• Competitive base salary $180,000–$240,000 USD annually.
